Custom Device Configuration

Use the information in this section to extend the types of devices that you can monitor within Mitel Performance Analytics.

Mitel Performance Analytics can monitor SNMP devices, such as routers, Session Border Controllers (SBCs), gateways, and more. You can use this feature to consolidate your monitoring tasks and to ensure that you receive alarms about the events and conditions that are most important to you.

Adding a custom device is a two-step process:

Create a custom device type for each type or brand of device, such as a Cisco router or an AudioCodes SBC; see "Create a Custom Device Type".

Add the device; see "Configure a Custom Device"
