Configuring Mitel Performance Analytics for MiVoice 5000 Redundant Deployments

If your MiVoice 5000 is deployed in a redundant configuration, you must also configure two MiVoice 5000 Base Systems in Mitel Performance Analytics. One is used to monitor the primary device, and the other is used to monitor the secondary device.

You also need three IP addresses:

The IP address of the primary MiVoice 5000 device. This address is used to configure the MiVoice 5000 Base System that is monitoring the primary device.

The IP address of the secondary MiVoice 5000 device. This address is used to configure the MiVoice 5000 Base System that is monitoring the secondary device.

The virtual IP address that is used to connect the handsets in the system to the servers. This address is used to configure the MiVoice 5000 in Mitel Performance Analytics.

For more information see: "Configuring Mitel Performance Analytics for MiVoice 5000 Base System"

NOTE: Redundancy is not currently supported for MiVoice 5000 Manager.

You can determine the state of your redundant deployments by viewing the Redundancy tab of the Device information panel for the MiVoice 5000 device. The Redundancy field indicates if redundancy is configured, and if so, whether the primary or secondary device is running the MiVoice 5000 software.
