Device Upgrade Alarms
The following table contains a list of the upgrade alarms that are raised on MSL based devices.
The alarms are cleared automatically; however, they can also be cleared manually. See "Acknowledging Alarms".
NOTE:Write permission on msl/v1/events in the MSL Web Service must be configured to clear alarms.

This alarm is raised when new manifest version(s) are available for upgrade on an MSL based device. This alarm is cleared automatically when the upgrade begins. |

Device Upgrade execution started. |
This alarm is raised when an upgrade is started. This alarm is automatically cleared once the upgrade is completed or after two days, whichever occurs first. |

Device Upgrade completed successfully |
This alarm is raised when the upgrade completes successfully. This alarm automatically clears after two days. |

Device Upgrade failed. Bad response from MSL after starting an upgrade. |
This alarm is raised when triggering the upgrade fails. This alarm is cleared once a successful upgrade completes. |

Device Upgrade failed due to timeout (120 minute). |
This alarm is raised when the upgrade execution does not complete within 120 minutes. This alarm is cleared once a successful upgrade completes. |

Device Upgrade failed. Device took longer than 15 minutes to reboot. |
This alarm is raised when the device needs to reboot as a part of the upgrade operation and did not come back online after 15 minutes. This alarm is cleared once a successful upgrade completes. |

This alarm is raised when the upgrade status endpoint returns unexpected result. This alarm is cleared once a successful upgrade completes. |

Device Upgrade failed. Couldn't verify list of available manifest versions. |
This alarm is raised when retrieving the list of available manifest versions from MSL fails. This alarm is cleared once a successful upgrade completes. |

This alarm is raised when retrieving the current manifest versions from the device fails. This alarm is cleared once a successful upgrade completes. |

Device Upgrade failed. Couldn't verify installed versions. |
This alarm is raised when retrieving the installed versions lists fails. This alarm is cleared once a successful upgrade completes. |

Device Upgrade failed. Device versions were not up-to-date when upgrade was initiated. |
This alarm is raised when the current or installed versions of the MSL device do not match the versions stored in the database after nightly collection. This alarm is cleared once a successful upgrade completes. |
