Configuring Mitel Performance Analytics for Mitel MSL/MiCollab
Do the following steps:
1. From the device dashboard, select MiCollab Settings under the System Administration menu.
2. Supply your email and password to enable administrative functions.
The device properties sheet is displayed.
3. Configure the following settings:

General Settings

Configure the following settings: Name—If necessary, change the name of the MiCollab. Probe—Verify that the suggested Probe is correct. Mitel Performance Analytics preselects the Probe that was created by the Flex Deployment Wizard. If needed, select a different Probe from the drop-down list. Container—If necessary, change the Container where the device is located. Description—Enter a description for the MiCollab. |
IP Networking |
In the IP Address/FQDN field, enter the address or domain name of the server. If no Probe is used, the IP address or domain name must be reachable from Mitel Performance Analytics. If a Probe is deployed, the IP address or domain name must be reachable from the Probe. |
Fault and Performance Monitoring |
Select the Enabled check box to enable fault and performance monitoring. |
Ping DSCP |
Choose the DSCP setting for Ping packets. You can choose from Best Effort (0), High Priority (46), or a variety of Assured Forwarding (AF) or Class Selector (CS) settings. |
SNMP Configuration |
Configure the following settings: SNMP Version—SNMP v1, v2C or v3. Mitel recommends SNMP v1 for MiVoice Business call servers. SNMP Port Community String You must also configure SNMP on the device. For more information, see "MSL/MiCollab SNMP Configuration" |
Event Stream |
Enable Display Event Stream to display the Event Stream panel on the device dashboard. See "Event Stream Panel" for details. |
Port Usage |
Select the Port Usage check box to enable the collection of port usage statistics. |
Port Usage Reporting |
Select the Enabled check box to enable port usage reporting. See "MiCollab Audio Web Video Port Usage Reports". |
Licenses |
Select the check box to display the Licenses panel on the device dashboard. |
MSL |
Enter the Administration password for the MiCollab. |
MSL Alarm Status Monitoring |
Select the Enabled check box to enable monitoring. |
Interface Filters |
Enable Interface Filtering if required. See "Interface Filter Configuration" for details. |
Maintenance Mode |
Select the Enabled check box to enable maintenance mode for the device. Enter a message to display when the device is in Maintenance Mode. |
Device Message |
Optionally specify the device message. |
4. Click Save to save your changes.
Clicking Save automatically runs a Probe connectivity check and verifies the new configuration.
