Configuring Containers
Complete the following steps:
1. Access the container’s dashboard and select System Administration > Container Settings.
The container’s Settings page is displayed.
2. Configure the following settings:

General |
Name—Enter a name for the container. Parent Container—This read-only field displays the name of the parent container. For information about relocating a container, see "Moving a Container Structure". |

Location |
Address—Enter the address or physical location. Latitude & Longitude—Optional. Provide the latitude and longitude coordinates where the container is located. Alternatively, you can provide a street address and click on the From Address button if your system uses online maps. From Address is disabled if your environment does not have an external internet connection. The GPS coordinates are determined based on the street address. The location data in the top level container is used to populate the map for monitoring container status. For example, if a location is provided for both a top level container as well as its subcontainers, only the top level container is shown on the map. If you want the subcontainers to appear on the map for monitoring purposes, do not provide a location for the parent container. |

Branding |
Enable Custom Brand—Optional. Select the checkbox if you want to customize the brand of the container. Image and Hi-Res Image—Use the buttons to upload brand images for the container. To customize the appearance of the dashboards and generated reports, see "Applying Branding". |

Custom Device Types |
Enable Custom Device Types—Optional. Select the checkbox if you want to add custom SNMP devices to MPA, such as routers, Session Border Controllers (SBCs), or gateways. For information about configuring custom SNMP devices, see "Custom Device Configuration". |

Container Message |
Optional. Use these settings if you want to share a Message of the Day. The Message of the Day appears as a banner on the container’s dashboard as well as the dashboards of all of its devices and subcontainers. Importance—Indicate the level of importance to users. Title and Message—Use these fields to enter a title and text for the message. For more information, see "Broadcasting a Message of the Day". |

Voice Quality Report |
Use these settings to determine how the Voice Quality Score is classified and displayed in the Voice Quality Report. By default, a score below 90% is classified as Bad, and a score above 95% is good. Override default Scores—Select the checkbox if you want to customize the values used for the VQ score. Bad VQ Score—Enter a custom threshold; scores below this threshold are classified as bad. Good VQ Score—Enter a custom threshold; scores above this threshold are considered good. |

Call Correlation |
The Call Correlation feature helps you to correlate voice quality data with SMDR call records. Use this setting to enable or disable call correlation for individual containers. If you set the Smdr Call Correlation Setting to Inherit, all containers in the structure inherit the setting from the parent container. After you enable this feature, ensure that you enable IP set inventory monitoring in the device settings for the MiVoice Business and MiVoice Border Gateway devices; see "Configuring Mitel Performance Analytics for MiVoice Business " and "Configuring Mitel Performance Analytics for MiVoice Border Gateway". To view correlated data, select Network Data > Voice Quality Queries > VQ–All Data. For information about the query see, "Voice Quality Queries". |

Container Type |
Optional. The Container Type is used for data queries or reports. To specify the type of container, select an option from the Container Type list. |

Voice Quality |
Display VQ—Optional. Select the checkbox if you want the container display Voice Quality (VQ) data along with the values for Bad VQ and >Good VQ scores. By default, scores between 0-90 are bad, 91-94 are poor, and 95-100 are good. R-Factor default—Select the R value to use by default in voice quality calculations. You can configure this setting for individual containers, or you can select Inherit to have all containers in the structure inherit the setting from the parent container.Mitel Performance Analytics can calculate voice quality based on the the minimum, average, or maximum R value. The results of the voice quality calculations are displayed in the Voice Quality reports . |

Contact Information |
Use the fields in this section to specify who to contact for administrative support. If you select the Show on Dashboard checkbox, the contact information appears as a banner on the container’s dashboard. |
